Hot Rod Circuit

After five albums and tireless rounds of touring, the boys in Hot Rod Circuit still hurt deep down inside, and thousands of fans are hurting right alongside them. Who can't identify with having his or her heart stomped on or being misunderstood? Call it Alab-emo. Even if you're an emotionally well-adjusted person (and who do you think you're fooling?), you'll still find a reason to bounce your head at a Hot Rod Circuit show. Check 'em out when they pull into town with Straylight Run, Northstar, and Say Anything. You'll feel warm and understood the whole way home. -- Maggie-Margret

Hot Rod Circuit performs Saturday, November 20, at the Factory, 2674 E. Oakland Park Blvd., Fort Lauderdale. Doors open at 6 p.m. Admission is $11 for all ages. Call 954-564-7625.
