Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers is what you'd call a live band. The recording studio may capture the band's sound in all its Southwestern roots-rock twang, but the vibe is something that can be felt only in person. That's not to say the Arizona band hasn't had its taste of recorded success. The release of 2004's ¡Americano! continues the Peacemakers' push to a wider audience, securing the band a regular spot at Circus Mexicus, the semi-annual, weekend-long festival in Puente Peñasco, Mexico. This event reaches its height with a four-hour concert followed by a "hangover bash" the next morning, where the band mingles with its fans — those still standing, that is.

Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers join Truckstop Coffee at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, 1001 E. Indiantown Rd., Jupiter. Tickets cost $18. Call 561-575-2223, or visit www.jupitertheatre.org.
