Miami is in for a special techno lovers' treat this Valentine's -- esteemed Berlin-based producer, DJ, and Wagon Repair label owner Konrad Black, will be throwing down at Glass at The Forge on the night of February 14. This exclusive performance comes on the first leg of Black's debut 2009 US tour, and coincides with him taking the reigns of the esteemed Watergate mix series, product of the eponymous Berlin nightclub were he holds a quarterly residence.

This Vancouver native boasts a unique signature sound, variously atmospheric and bass-driven, with roots in the drum & bass worlds of Vancouver and London. Unlike many of his peers who develop their own sound from within the somewhat limited minimal techno frame of reference, Black's productions are a boundary-pushing progression of form and medium in contemporary European EDM -- staying true to its eclectic roots, while defining the genre's future.

"Black Valentine" is hosted by the folks from Safe, who brought us some of the biggest names in international techno last year.  Funktion One and Alejandro Sab a.k.a. Sabox will hit the decks in support of Konrad Black. Stay tuned for WATERGATE03 - KONRAD BLACK set to be released March 2009.
