When Andrei Osyka, Brett Griffin, and Justin Sloe first met in the Los Angeles dance music scene at the turn of the millennium, little could they have known that their newly forged creative partnership would comprise one of the West Coast's hippest EDM collectives by the end of the decade. As DJ trio Droog they landed a residency at L.A.'s renowned Avalon nightclub in 2007, where they honed their skills alongside such cutting-edge luminaries as Richie Hawtin, Booka Shade, Tiefschwarz, and M.A.N.D.Y., while cementing their reputation as the city's top emissaries of underground dance music.

2009 has seen the trio establish Culprit, one of the most exciting new underground boutique imprints to come out this year, which already boasts a fool-proof roster including releases by Seth Troxler, Lee Curtiss, [a]pendics.shuffle, Jamie Jones and Lee Foss (along with their side project Hot Natured). Join Droog for a night of late-night West Coast-style debauchery at the Electric Pickle this Friday night.

Droog at Electric Pickle. Friday, November 27. 10:30 p.m.-5:00 a.m. 2826 N.

Miami Ave., Miami.
