Meek Mill Announces Labor Day Weekend Show at Revolution, Fort Lauderdale, Sept. 2

Some recognize the City of Brotherly Love as a jumping off point for an assortment of rappers, including Beanie Sigel, Jedi Mind Tricks, and Freeway, while children of the nineties associate Philadelphia with Will Smith's days before Bel-Air.

Recently joining the ranks of these wordsmiths is Meek Mill, a 25-year old self-proclaimed "dreamchaser." Getting his start in North Philly, Mill entered into the rap game by forming Bloodhoundz.

After the release of only a few mixtapes -- both as a group and solo artist -- the rapper landed himself in jail on some gun charges. Following an 8-month stint behind bars, Mill went on to make some serious headway alongside big industry names like Rick Ross, Drake, and 2Chainz. In February, MTV included Meek Mill at #7 in its annual "Hottest MCs in the Game" 2012 list. On September 2, Meek Mill brings his Dreamchasers Tour to Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale.
