Sorry guys, I think this cover is the most interesting thing about the National
In our Moving Units column, Mike Ramirez at Fort Lauderdale's Radio-Active Records  graciously keeps us up-to-date and comments on the current releases flying out of his store each week.

This week, Radio-Active Records' assistant manager Paul Poletz fills in admirably while Ramirez explores the wild expanses of New York City and learns that Terminal 5 is both where JetBlue docks at JFK International Airport and an enormous music venue in Manhattan. Weird, huh?

Below, we find out that a lot of local folks find the National more fascinating than, say, this guy, and probably one of the best live review that the Dead Weather could ever hope to get.

Radio-Active's Top 5 Releases for May 11-17
1. The National - High Violet (4AD) "I wasn't throwing up my hands in the

air about it, but still one of those records that got me hooked after the first listen."

2. Cocorosie - Grey Oceans (Sub Pop)

3. Flying Lotus - Cosmogramma (Warp)

4. The Dead Weather - Sea of Cowards (Third Man) "I just saw them up in Orlando and they were great. They were tighter than a mosquito's ass. The first two tracks are really good."

5. Holy Fuck - Latin (XL) "First time I ever heard them. Based on the name, better than I thought."

Which albums will we be talking about next week?

"The Black Keys' Brothers (Nonesuch) that's going to be a big one. Band of Horses' Infinite Arms (Columbia), the Jayhawks' reissue of their self-titled "Bunkhouse" album (Lost Highway) 'for first time since 1986.' Delorean's Subiza (True Panther) is some fun listening. I'm also loving the new Peter Gabriel album, Scratch My Back (EMI). Orchestra, piano and Peter Gabriel. Kind of a quiet album that you listen to at night by yourself."
