In the latest instance of South Florida scratching its own back: the chill waves of Millionyoung get linked up with ANR (Awesome New Republic) for a remix of “Weak Ends.” The track is originally from last year’s Sunndreamm EP, and was already touted on Pitchfork by County Grind pal Jonathan Garrett.
Now, ANR takes a song that’s already a late-night jam, and pushes it straight on ’til morning. It’s dark out there, and Mike Diaz’s voice is the singular lightbulb dangling.
