Last time Of Montreal came to South Florida, the band stopped at Revolution in Fort Lauderdale. While they aren't planning to return in the near future, guitarist James Huggins III side-project James Husband will come to South Florida on March 13.

Huggins released his debut album, A Parallax I, in October. Much like his work with Of Montreal, it features sweet avant-garde pop music with catchy hooks and harmonies.

Electric Pickle's Saturday night party, Poplife, will host the solo act. Tickets go on sale via epoplife.com for $10 presale, but expect the price to go up if you wait until you show up at the door. Doors open at 10 p.m., and you've got to be over 21 to attend.
