ON/OFF, New Minimal Party on the Beach Wednesdays

The PL0T and LINK crews have been busy this year hosting some of the top international techno talent at downtown venues like White Room, Electric Pickle and Space. Now they've embarked on an entirely new collaborative effort that aims to showcase Miami's own local talent in the intimate patio setting of La Folie on Washington Ave. every Wednesday night. South Beach can certainly use an injection of underground EDM sensibility, especially on a weeknight. Tonight's ON/OFF installment will feature minimal grooves by local DJ Hardline of Sobebeats, who made his 2008 WMC debut alongside Anja Schneider, Pan-Pot and Sebo K at the Mobilee Records Showcase and is also a regular at Space. He'll be joined by PL0T resident DJ Basti, another downtown regular who's recently played in support of artists like Alexi

Delano, Wolf + Lamb, and Gaiser. With no cover, drink specials, and a tasteful soundtrack, ON/OFF at La Folie might just be the excuse you needed to party on a Wednesday night.

ON/OFF at La Folie. Wednesday, December 9, 11 p.m.-5 a.m. 655 Washington Ave. Miami Beach.
