Playmobil People Cover Joy Division's "Transmission"

The toys you got to play with as a wee lad or lass might have a lot to do with your feelings about Joy Division. Did you collect Cabbage Patch Kids or Garbage Pail Kids? Were you into Lego or the far more subversive Playmobil people?

That second question didn't seem so important until we witnessed SoftwareDR's brilliant stop-motion animation of Playmobil figures of Ian Curtis, Peter Hook, Stephen Morris, and Bernard Sumner totally destroying "Transmission" on the BBC's Something Else program in 1979. Incidentally, how many black turtlenecks did you own by the age of 7?
