Psychedelic Furs and Happy Mondays at Revolution September 29

psychedelicfurs.jpg
The redcoats are coming! British alterna-rockers Psychedelic Furs and Happy Mondays are hitting up Revolution Live on September 29. The Furs, who've had a slew of hit songs like Love my Way, Heartbreak Beat, and Pretty In Pink, have (not so) recently reunited and hit the road hoping to inspire the next generation of John Hughes-esque filmmakers. Alongside the Psychedelic Furs on this tour, the less known, but just as British Happy Mondays will be opening. Happy Mondays are a little more indie-pop driven in their guitar work than PF, and their music seems to draw on heavier dance music style beats. (Fun fact: Paul Oakenfold produced them!) Tickets for the show go on sale June 27 at 10 am through Ticketmaster. They'll run you about $24. Hit the jump if you want to hear the goods before you buy them.
