Today one of South Florida's most slept on MC's, Rahsaan, released a new mixtape with DJ Epps of G-Unit/Shadyville fame that's worth downloading.

The project is called, Dadeland: The Dade County Project,

and is a good intro to Rahsaan's style for anyone that's not familiar

with him. He's originally from Guyana, but grew up between Kendall and

Brooklyn. You can hear traces of all three of those locales when you

listen to his music which gives him a unique sound. And if the name

sounds familiar, it's the same MC that's going to be opening up for

Madlib on December 4th in Miami.

In typical, new school hip-hop form, the mixtape is free, and if you want to download it, click here and be sure to support local music. Check out video of Rahsaan performing live after the jump.
