Rock of Ages Movie Premiere Party at Revolution Live

Update: The film will not be screening at Revolution Live. Party only.

As you may have already read on County Grind, I'm like really famous. This is because I was an extra in the upcoming film Rock of Ages starring the ever obnoxious Tom Cruise, who appears with his top off in the movie. Jealous? I think so. When they filmed the movie's final scene at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, I was in the audience wearing a black "Rock of Ages" T-shirt, X-large, of course. Sure there were hundreds of us, but I know I'm gonna be the one that ends up on screen. This is how people become stars. Check my hands out in the trailer. My hands: Famous hands. That's all I have to say on that.

Since the film crew came to town and turned all of South Florida into its set (bitch), it's only fitting that we get to watch a preview of the movie first. Well, not first, per se. It's showing here on the day it actually hits all the movie houses in the US, but it's free, and there will be drink specials, so we'll take it as a Hollywood "thank you."

Rock of Ages will screen at Revolution Live, 100 SW 3rd Ave. Ft. Lauderdale, on June 15 at 9 p.m. with '80s tribute band Lazy Bonez and the School of Rock Band, which we recently wrote about in detail.

Oh, and make sure to be on the lookout for my big screen debut. One day you

can tell your children and their children: "I saw Liz Tracy's left pinky on the big screen first!"
