The peeps from Safe have hit the ground running this new year it seems, what with them booking international techno magnate Konrad Black for Valentine's at Glass, in addition to Sammy Dee this Friday night at the same venue. Hailing from Berlin (big surprise) Mr. Dee is a scene veteran who has been spinning sets for two decades and is recognized as a prime mover in that city's avant-garde EDM community. His rhythmic off-kilter minimal stylings are known to abide strictly by the maxim "In Order to Dance," which makes this performance an ideal reason to get down on Glass's dancefloor this Friday. Locals Simon Wish and Funktion One will kick off the night on the decks.

Sammy Dee performs Friday, February 6 at Glass (at the Forge), 432 41st St. Miami Beach.  Doors open at 10 p.m. Limited tickets available now at www.wantickets.com/safe. 305-538-8533.
