Selena Gomez at Mizner Park Amphitheater July 28

The Jonas Brothers have gone solo or more "serious" with their musical careers. Miley Cyrus has been caught on video smoking funny stuff and speaking in tongues. Demi Lovato's very publicly done a stint in rehab for various unpretty issues. That pretty much leaves Selena Gomez as the latest hope for the Disney entertainment machine, and so far, she hasn't let down the brand's squeaky-clean image. As the star of the series The Wizards of Waverly Place and various, largely princess-themed movies, Gomez is pretty, perky, and inoffensive.

Of course, like all her limelight predecessors, she's also a tireless workhorse, finding time to release albums, run various spinoff businesses, and do philanthropic work in between. Oh, and did we mention a little tabloid-chronicled teen romance with the Biebs? Sure, that may have scored her some Twitter jealousy, but it isn't dampening the ardor of the many fans who will doubtlessly pack Mizner Park Amphitheater this Thursday.
