Only in America can a Cool Kid rap about getting "hand sex" and "ass smacked" from playing "Video Games" in a Flosstradamus-produced banger. It's that very reason our great nation is still the envy of the rest of the world. This is the subject of Sir Michael Rocks' "Now You Do." Sir Michael is one-half of Chicago/Detroit hip-hop duo the Cool Kids, but in August, the Midwest MC released his first solo project, Lap of Lux. Overall, the 15-track mixtape was received well by critics and fans alike, but it raised questions about his future with Cool Kids collaborator Chuck Inglish. "We've pretty much been separate on this one so we can see what we can do separately, you know what I mean?" Rocks recently told All Hip Hop. "I feel like the stronger we get separately, the stronger we'll be as a group. I feel like it will only make us both stronger as a unit." Sir Michael will flex his solo muscle this week at Green Room's Brown Bag Wednesdays.
