South Florida's Eight Best Concerts This Week

Vince Gill and Lyle Lovett 
Brace yourself for a night of Songs and Stories as Vince Gill and Lyle Lovett top off their 13-city tour at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts. Back in 2015, Gill and Lovett joined musical forces for a four-day mini-tour where the two country music giants performed solo sets, swapped stories, and performed several duets. This past February, the two reunited for a second Songs and Stories Tour. And this week, they'll be hitting up the 954 with their Grammy award-winning hits.

New Found Glory
As South Floridians, we wouldn't really consider Florida a prime vacation destination for locals. But hometown heroes New Found Glory – who reign from the streets of Coral Springs – are getting ready for some fun in the Sunshine State. Join them as they bring a double dose of pop punk to SoFla with gigs at Culture Room on Thursday and Miami's Churchill's Pub on Friday.

Moody Blues
Birmingham's Moody Blues want to make "Your Wildest Dreams" come true. And as a band that has earned 18 platinum and gold albums, chances are the rockers will have you dreaming in color. So jam with Graeme Edge, Justin Hayward, and John Lodge as the trio brings their Fly Me High Tour to the Hard Rock Live.

Jellyfish Brothers 
"Silly Boi[s]" and Hyper Light Drifter[s] – that's what you'll be in for when Miami's Jellyfish Brothers rock the stage at Respectable Street for Flaunt. "We wanted to take electronics and add a lot of attitude to it," Greg Alvarez told our sister paper, the Miami New Times, about the band's album Hyper Light Drifter last year. "So it's more experimental, but it's also a lot more pop. Every song has a lot of lyrics, really high up in the mix. But there are also moments of pure noise." Joined by fellow 305 noisemakers Montage, the Jellyfish Bros will take West Palm Beach on one hell of a musical ride.

Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival
"Burning Man is a reference point for what we're trying to accomplish," Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival cofounder Paul Peck told New Times back in December. "We really want this to be a hub for a really diverse community." As a three-day music fest with acts ranging from Mumford & Sons to Kendrick Lamar to Skrillex to Hall and Oates, we have no doubt the inaugural music and arts festival will accomplish just that.

From NOLA to Fort Lawdy, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue is bringing their "hard-edged funk, hip-hop beats, rock dynamics, and improvisation" to Revolution Live. With the trombone skills of a brass prodigy, Trombone Shorty will no doubt turn the funk up.

Sure, those are some strong words, but coming from a guy who was signed by Diddy, covered XXL magazine, and whose track, "Invincible," has been used as theme song by both the NFL and the WWE, homeboy knows a thing or two about the industry.
