Get used to it, lads
South Florida indie rock heroes Surfer Blood will be back in the area for their April 20 show at Respectable Street in West Palm Beach and a stop at Bal Harbour Resort & Spa in Miami on April 22, but then we lose them to European audiences for a while. As Gob Bluth would say, "Come on!"

An exciting new tour pairing is in the offing for Surfer Blood's return to the U.S. in June, however. A 12-date run in early June -- including a stop at Miami's Grand Central on June 12 -- lines the gents up with the marvelous Morrissey-gaze of the Pains of Being Pure at Heart, a New York act that got this writer all worked up a while back with "Young Adult Friction." Also along for the ride is Hooray for Earth, another New York act that has no shortage of longing in the vocals -- the mesmerizing "Surrounded by Your Friends," and some more footage of Surfer Blood making a racket in a gas station, is waiting for you after the jump.
