Ten Best Christmas Parties in Broward and Palm Beach

Though it's been close to 40 years since it snowed down here, you can't accuse South Florida of not getting in the holiday spirit. Everywhere you look, there is a party, concert, or event filled with cheer. So whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or Festivus, here are ten parties in Broward and Palm Beach where you can get your holiday party on.
SithMas: Cos-Play Burlesque Christmas Party! at Revolution Live
If nothing gets you in the holiday spirit quite like dressing like Darth Vader, Revolution Live on December 23 is the place you need to be. The fourth-annual Sithmas party will offer a night of Star Wars-themed Burlesque, costume contests, and music. There is a $5 entrance fee which will allow you to watch burlesque performances by Morgan La Rue, Val Vampyre, Onyx Star, and Lisa Ann.
Christmas Spectacular at Dada
This Delray Beach lounge and restaurant is going all-out on December 23. From 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. there will be an open bar, and if that's not enough there will be a snow machine turning the place into a winter wonderland as well as live music by Cog Nomen and Pans Permia. Everyone is encouraged to dress in their craziest Christmas costumes..
Jazz Takes a Holiday at Arts Garage
For those who want to know what a jazz version of The Nutcracker might sound like, Delray Beach's Arts Garage has you covered. On December 23, the Dick Lowenthal Orchestra with Steve Leeds will be putting a jazz spin on all your favorite Christmas carols and Hanukkah anthems to get you in the Yuletide mood.
Hail Krampus at Kreepy Tiki
Krampus, a horned half-goat, half-demon who, during the Christmas season, punishes children who have misbehaved, is the guest of honor at this December 22 party of eclectic evil music. Featured guests will be horror rapper DEVTHMVTCH, death-metal band Volcano Cvlt, stoner-metal band Iron Buddha, and doom-metal group Kief Demon. Those over 21 pay $5, while those under 21 have to reach deeper into their wallet to pay $7.
Fugly Sweater Party at Rhythm & Vine
Let's hope there's a cold front that hits South Florida on Saturday, December 17, because that's when Rhythm & Vine presents the Fugly Sweater Party. Music for the free party will be provided by Konflikt, Jessica Who, and Tony Martinez.
