Tomorrow night marks the three-year anniversary party forThe Rock, the weekly locals-only showcase at Tobacco Road run by the loveable Oski Gonzalez, guy about town and frontman of his own band, the Oski Foundation. Yes, The Rock usually happens on Thursdays, but it's been bumped forwards this week to Friday for an extra-large fete, with some 30 bands across 4 stages.

Click here to read what New Times had to say about The Rock a few months ago. But suffice it to say, it's provided a vital step up for plenty of local bands, giving almost everyone with talent a fair shake and ignoring scene bullshit and politics. The assortment of people in the crowd can be, well, amazing, to say the least, but everyone's always unpretentious and ready for a good time.

What's more, Oski always manages to create some new, handmade posters and merch for every edition of the party, drink prices are cheap, and if you get hungry or arrive early, you can get a damn tasty burger in the restaurant area downstairs. If you love live music in an intimate setting, what more could you ask for?

Fitting the evening's always-jammed lineup, and the retrospective vibe of tonight's show, the array of bands set to play is, basically, almost anyone who's ever played at the Rock, ever. Scroll down to read them all! -- Arielle Castillo
