The Show Is the Rainbow

Shirtless white guys who smear themselves with fake blood and sing about the joys of being drug-free? Sounds like a Jerry Springer episode taped in a Tijuana flophouse. But alas, this scenario is only what you will see when Darren Keen, a.k.a. The Show is the Rainbow, takes to the floor, literally, at your local rock club or rec center. A self-described "one-man electrofunk experience," this Nebraska native is on an exhaustive mission: to bring high kicks, breakdance moves, and partial nudity to the kids of America, trampling through amber waves of grain to sing you a song, baby. -- Audra Schroeder
