This week’s New Times Broward Palm Beach harnesses the considerable talents of Arielle Castillo for the main feature of the week. Enough about Vampire Weekend already, let’s read about the moody songscapes of opening act Beach House. Jasper Delaini comes strong with an extended conversation with hip-hop label owner Buckshot, which discusses the formation and strength of Duck Down Records after 15 years in the business.

Concert caps for the week include Gwar at Revolution, the Vibrators at Respectable Street, Jacuzzi Boys and friends at Respectable Street, the Think Pink Rocks benefit at Mizner Park, a night of singer-songwriter talent featuring Sara Bareilles and Greg Laswell at Revolution, and the Stone Temple Pilots, who are hopefully performing at Hard Rock Live.
