West Palm Beach folk-rockers the Dewars have enjoyed considerable local fanfare (and a few barbs) from the County Grind/Crossfade music news machine during the past few months. But there’s plenty of excitement as the guys are heading out on the road with Surfer Blood and the Drums in early October — and later in the month, they’ll perform at the CMJ Music Marathon in New York. Just to get the audiences/gushing bloggers primed, the guys — along with the State Of and the Howling Winds — recently participated in FAU’s Manic Organic Podcast (download for free here), and Gingerman309 has uploaded some fresh live videos of the guys performing earlier this year at Respectable Street.
