Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's Top Five Musical Moments in Preparation for the Golden Globes

Award show season never really tickles my fancy. It always seems like a bunch Hollywood elites schmoozing and boozing for the cameras while I'm just hoping one of them gets drunk enough to thank Jesus too many times and maybe bust an "accidental" nip slip.

But when I heard funny goddesses Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be combining forces for hosting duties at this Sunday's Golden Globes, well, I was the one thanking Jesus. Fey and Poehler (a.k.a. my best friends) have become award show darlings, often stealing the spotlight with a funny bit even when they don't take home the win. I haven't been this excited to watch TV since eighth grade when my parents got HBO.

To officially show some love for these two funny ladies, and attempt to get you as juiced up for Sunday night as I am, here are Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's top musical moments:

5. Leslie Knope Gets Pokerface Stuck In Her Head

In the season two premiere of NBC's Parks and Recreation, Poehler's Leslie Knope character accidentally marries two gay penguins. Yes, you read correctly. To celebrate her new advocate status, local gay bar, The Bulge, throws a party in Leslie's honor. There, she gets hit in the face by the magic of Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" and sings it all night and into the morning, which shockingly does not please her coworkers.

4. Tina Fey Crushes on Justin Bieber
In 2010, Tina Fey returned to her old stomping grounds to host Saturday Night Live alongside musical guest Justin Bieber. And just as you'd expect, it was a recipe for awesome. In a ROFL sketch, Fey plays a teacher whose inner-monologue reveals not so PG feelings towards Bieber, complete with fantasy musical numbers. It is greatness.

3. Poehler Pretends to Play Piano with Bradley Cooper
Amy played Susie, the director and choreographer in the summer camp laughfest, Wet Hot American Summer. During the talent show, she leads her campers through a performance of "Day by Day" for an audience that includes the likes of Elizabeth Banks and Michael Ian Black. The best part is, Poehler's barely trying to play piano, even turning her back to it at one point, all while fighting with Bradley Cooper and telling her campers that they "suck dick."

2. Tina Fey teams with Chilidish Gambino on 'Real Estate'
Chilidish Gambino, the rapper alter ego of actor Donald Glover, dropped the Royalty mixtape in July 2012 and made sure to bring his buddy Tina Fey along for the ride. On the track "Real Estate," Fey comes through and actually raps, dropping a laugh-out-loud verse that includes "My president is black and my Prius is blue motherfucker!"

1. Amy's Sarah Palin Rap
In our top spot, a super pregnant Poehler proves that she also has rhyming skills. The comedienne takes over the mic with a hilarious Sarah Palin rap, complete with Eskimo hype men, shooting down a moose, and getting Palin to "raise the roof."

These lovely ladies have proven they can make us laugh every time they open their mouths, but what shenanigans will they bring to the table this Sunday night? Will there be rap? Will there be dance? Will Jon Hamm dance and sing with them? One thing is for certain, your ass'll be parked in front of the tele this weekend, because as they say; Ain't no party like a Liz Lemon party 'cause a Liz Lemon party is mandatory!

The 70th Annual Golden Globes will air live this Sunday, January 13, on NBC at 8 p.m.
