Tonight! DJ Deekline Brings Breakbeat to Respectable Street

The electro-savvy Briton DJ Deekline's international following pulls his bass-heavy, hard-core jungle rhythms back and forth over the Atlantic. His breakbeat prowess was even put to work to remix Ol' Dirty Bastard's biggest hit, "Got Your Money," featuring Kelis.

Deekline is a delight live when he gets that sweet vibe going, and his

Midas touch on wax is probably the only proof positive in existence of

the DJ as musician. He manipulates and squeezes higher warmths out of

the vinyl than his colleagues, so it's a blessing for a hump-day

booking. Wear light clothes and bring a pocket square, cuz you gonna

sweat.

DJ Deekline, with Johnny Dangerously, Fusion, and Lo IQ?. 9 p.m.

Wednesday, June 23, at Respectable Street, 518 Clematis St., West Palm

Beach. Call 561-832-9999, or click here.
