Tonight! Hot Pants Cancer Benefit at 1921

The forbidden and enticing confines of the really hard-to-find Fort Lauderdale rock/punk/revelry club 1921 open up for a special benefit event this evening. The hospitality will be checking at the door to ensure that the hot pants shorts for all are at least 6" above the knee, and enforcing a strict body moving ordinance within the confines is DJ Mig Lauderdale. All door proceeds go to help offset medical costs for Josh Gonzalez, a local battling cancer.

"We're super excited to have everyone come together and dance it up for

Josh, who's not only a super fun dude, but a solid friend to the people

around him," says organizer Jessie Gilmartin. "All the proceeds from the door are going to go towards his

medical costs, and I hope the photos from the event will make him smile

too!"
