Just the thought of the Beach Boys brings back childhood memories of sitting in the sun and mentally mapping out the exact location of "Kokomo" (Is it near the Keys? Aruba? Jamaica?). Their songs remind us of simpler times when fun, fun, fun was all that mattered -- and we're OK with that.
The legendary band will set foot on Florida soil next year on April 17, and with talk of a "big 50th anniversary celebration" for the group and comments from former members like Al Jardine stating they're "definitely doing at least one show" featuring all surviving members, we can't help but hope they'll pick South Florida for their big reunion shindig.
