The cutting-edge Lake Worth exhibition space presents its latest group show, which examines the concept of artists as members of an "invisible horde," existing "on a razor's edge of narcissism and self-loathing, turning the shit of reality into glittering jewels through some strange alchemical self-immolation." Born in Paris and raised in Miami, Karelle Levy is an RISD graduate in textile design who has dabbled in everything from costume design to experimental performance art. Her fusion of art and fashion has earned her booths at big-name fairs like Art Basel and Scope. Check her out, along with about 50 other artists sourced from all over the world, at this Saturday's "Fiber Optics" opening reception at the 1310 Gallery at the Sailboat Bend Artist Lofts.
