Fort Lauderdale, Wilton Manors, specifically, is the new throbbing groin of the gay world. It's where all the queers around the globe rest their well coiffed heads when in our oddly shaped shape. What South Beach was in the late '90s, Wilton Manors is in the aughts, though a little grayer, and with a lot less model hags.

Most in the area already know where they're kickin' it this New Year's Eve, but we thought we'd do a little digging to find the hottest gay parties in Fort Lauderdale. And what'd we find? Well, quite a bit for everyone from the tiniest twink to the beariest bear. Keep on clicking.

10. Boom, New York Style
Located just steps from Gay Mart, Boom offers all the scope of a New York mega-club and the intimacies of a Broward bungalow. If you have a fear of balloons, watch out, cause they're dropping at midnight at this Manhattan-lovin' extravaganza.

9. Johnny's
Everyone loves the go-go boys at Johnny's, unless you're into burly bears. They're bringing out their sexiest topless dudes to shake their junk in your faces to ring in 2013. VIP champagne service isn't bad at all. It's only $69... oh, wait, we get it. And besides that, on the first, you can go to their Well Hung Over party for a cheap-o lap dance.

8. Rosie's Bar and Grill
The Mayans aren't, but we're still here. And as the calendar continues, so does the grumbling of our bellies. Rosie's, everyone's favorite queer-friendly bunch spot, has a special menu for the holiday, and they didn't leave off the champagne or lobster either.

7. The Stable
Queers and steers aren't just in Texas. We've got some of our own in SoFla. The Stable promises their hottest men, and the stiffest drinks. Maybe even some of the stiffest hottest mean? If so, we're there.

6. Village Pub
Gay girls and boys, the Village Pub is promising a mojito filled New Year's Eve. We're pretty certain you'll end up on another planet with the hypnotic visuals and sounds of VJ Galaxy.

5. Scandals Saloon
For the dedicated cowboy, Scandals is offering a countrified queer NYE. Line dance your way into 2013 with your fellow whipmaster.

4. Bill's
Bill's offers one of the more cleverly titled NYE parties in town: Beary New Year. While the twinks can chill over at Johnny's, the bears, otters, and cubs will find a very furry armpit to snuggle in when the ball drops. Also, they'll be counting down the year with 2012's top hits. Frank Ocean better be on that list.

3. Boardwalk
Boardwalk is bringing the drag from 2012 to 2013, and we ain't mad at them 'bout it. World-famous Chi Chi La Rue is bringing all of her sensual, sexual, cross-dressing superpowers to the club for this Masquerade Ball. Masks encouraged, shirts are not.

2. Club Cinema
It's like we've been saying forever, size matters! Club Cinema knows that, and, as of Monday, is becoming a big ol' gay club, claiming to be the biggest gay complex ever. Yes, Rick Ross performed there like three days ago, but out with the Bawse, in with Misty Eyes!

1. The Manor
We have not much more to say but: One Night in Bangcock. Doesn't get campier than that! Dress like Auntie Mame and dance like you're the queen of the universe to David Knapp, who's bringing the Kylie Minogue, Cee-Lo and Gaga with him into 2013.

Happy New Year!
