Last week I dropped in on Jacobs Ladder at the Dungeon recording studio in North Miami Beach, where they were working on a new EP. (Pictures and video are coming later this week.) The producer on the project is Cyrus Bolooki, drummer of Coral Springs' biggest pop-punk exports, New Found Glory.
Although he lives in South Florida again, he had just returned on a red-eye from a marathon video shoot with his band in L.A. Here he is talking about the concept for that video, for the song "Don't Let Her Pull You Down," from the band's most recent album, Not Without A Fight, out now on Epitaph. (Apologies for the video quality, this was captured on a still camera.)
