Surf pop band Best Coast has debuted the music video for "Our Deal", the latest edition to MTV's "Supervideo" series.  Directed by Drew Barrymore and starring a wide variety of up-and-coming

Hollywood names -- Chloe Moretz of Kick-Ass, Tyler Posey of Teen

Wolf, Donald Glover, Alia Shawkat, and Miranda Cosgrove -- the video

is more like a short art film.

Centered around the young love of opposing L.A. gang members Moretz and

Posey, director Barrymore put her own fresh-faced "indie" spin on

the silver screen's classic theme of forbidden romance. The video's visual tale of two star-crossed lovers, switchblade knife fights, and use of 1950s garb channel such "gang" movies like The Warriors, Rumblefish, and West Side Story. In most action-packed videos, directors may have gone with a faster song, but for whatever reason, the dreamy imagery and vintage aesthetics make it work. After watching this video, I won't be surprised if we start seeing tweens running around town in pompadours, moto-jackets, and rolled-up jeans.

Peep the video for Best Coast's "Our Deal" after the jump.
