Whether it was remarked at the time or not, it was extremely disappointing that Erykah Badu didn't perform "Gone Baby, Don't Be Long" during her Miami performance last year. The track is by far the finest on New Amerykah Part II: Return of the Ankh, and Flying Lotus, who directed the trippy machinations straight out of an Octavia E. Butler sci-fi tale, undoubtedly knows.
Even if this clip isn't nearly as controversial as her "Window Seat" statement, it's gratifying that it's still gonna be heard. Let's just say we have a fiendish crush on it.
