Anthony and Zachary Dewar used to live in New Zealand, but nothing could prepare them for the journey they experienced with their band as the opening act for Surfer Blood and the Drums this fall. Well, actually, they seemed pretty prepared. As reported back in August, this stint fell between October 3 and October 22, and included a gig in front of hundreds of CMJ Music Marathon tastemakers in New York -- not to say that the Boise folks weren't also impressed.
Dewars percussionist, the Honeycomb.com proprietor, and man-with-a-beard-about-town Steve Rullman posted a video capturing live footage, moments in the van, and some candid camera obscura. Watch below.
