Definitely got some fiery retorts from the comment gallery yesterday regarding our local Millionyoung’s less-than-positive Pitchfork score, so hopefully this video offering dealt by the venerable indie website will fare better.

As is already established, Mike Diaz’s digital-analog mix welcomes psychedelic visions of hazy sunsets. So, to move the experience further, a video for his new LP’s title track takes a stop-motion voyage to a retro destination featuring a crowd of Pinocchio’s descendants, who have little regard for undergarments, frolicking and falling in love among the tall palms. (We thought of motorcycles upon hearing it, for some reason.)
