Community Property's musical ability is even better than its taste in publications
As any seasoned tippler will tell you, it's best to start a long session of drinking with the delicious stuff -- your taste buds won't care if you dip them in turpentine after a few hours of steady consumption.

Thus, as New Times Battle of the Bands winner Community Property hits the stage in the early going on Saturday -- be there at 7 p.m. sharp -- our beloved sister (brother?) blog Clean Plate Charlie lists the "Top 10 Beers to Try at the New Times Original BeerFest."

If anyone asks for our opinion, we'd opt for the Brooklyn Brewery's Summer Ale.

Beerfest, with Community Property and U2 Tribute Band UV. 7 p.m.

Saturday, April 17, at Esplanade Park, 400 SW Second St., Fort

Lauderdale Tickets cost $25 to $75 in advance, $35 to $85 at the door
