A weekend of celebrating what is great about our country is nearly upon us, and figuring heavily into that is the Rock N' Roll Beer-B-Que event on Sunday. If the prospect of an endless supply of ribs and pulled pork and beer isn't enough to march you right to the Seminole Paradise Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, how about getting all of that delightful grub and suds for free?

As we have mentioned, Seven Mary Three will bring their smoky roots rock out for the occasion, and local faves Community Property are getting in on the act too.

Now, the process to win these tickets isn't difficult. It's not even going to take you longer than it did to read this blog. Simply head to the County Grind Facebook page, like it, and provide a link to your favorite patriotic anthem. One is embedded below to get you in the mood:

We'll pick a winner on Friday at noon, so get cracking!

Seven Mary Three at Rock N' Roll Beer-B-Que. 5 to 9 p.m. on

Sunday, July 3. Seminole Paradise Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, 1

Seminole Way, Hollywood. 21 and up; tickets cost $35 in advance, $45 at the

door, $75 for early admission VIP. Click here.

Keep New Times Broward-Palm Beach Free... Since we started New Times Broward-Palm Beach, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of South Florida, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering South Florida with no paywalls.
