Support the independent voice of South Florida and help keep the future of New Times free.

Who among our money-grabbing readers would like to attend next Tuesday's predictably soulful Fitz & the Tantrums show at Culture Room free of charge? It's a simple question with a very simple solution if you follow along.

We have a pair of tickets for Fitz & the Tantrums at Culture Room on Tuesday, November 1, (and a copy of their CD) waiting for the lucky winner of our random drawing.

To be eligible, simply "like" the County Grind Facebook page -- conveniently embedded below -- by noon on Monday, October 31, and leave a comment mentioning the "Fitz & the Tantrums tickets thing" so we know to put your name in the hat. We will contact the winner later in the day on Monday, and his or her name will be at the door at Culture Room.

For your further viewing pleasure, here is the infectious "MoneyGrabber" (mp3) video:

Fitz & the Tantrums. With Walk the Moon. 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, at Culture Room, 3045 N. Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale. Tickets cost $20. Click here.

Keep New Times Broward-Palm Beach Free... Since we started New Times Broward-Palm Beach, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of South Florida, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering South Florida with no paywalls.
