WMC 2010: Mixed Doubles Daytime Party at Electric Pickle

mixeddoublesflyer.jpg
Electric Pickle must have some serious staff rotations lined up for WMC, because its daily roster doesn't leave a whole lot of room for sleep. (See, for instance, the 14-hour Crosstown Rebels Get Lost gig, which lasts from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 27).

Here's another daytime gig, this one on Thursday, March 25: Mixed Doubles. It's a crammed lineup of stars from the Berlin-based booking agencies Wilde and Playkula, and the London-based agencies Leftroom and murmur. Not surprisingly the lineup includes Get Physical artists like Italoboyz and Heidi, as well as Pickle techno favorites like Matt Tolfrey and H.O.S.H.

Here's the full line-up: Tiefschwarz & Sante, Italoboyz, Heidi, Matt Tolfrey, Inxec, Geddes, Lee Curtiss, DJ T., Thomas Schumacher, Kabuto & Koji, Simon Baker, Gavin Herlihy, Marcashken, Sebrok, Solomon, and H.O.S.H.

Suggested attire is, supposedly, "your bitchin' tennis outfit," but it seems unlikely that Electric Pickle will ever enforce a dress code of any kind.

Thursday, March 25. Electric Pickle, 2826 N. Miami Ave., Miami. Party goes from 1 to 9 p.m. Tickets cost $10 in advance from Resident Advisor. Age 21 and up. 305-356-5613; electricpicklemiami.com
