Our beaches are great, but let’s face it, we don’t think about ’em till we’ve got tourists to please. Which is why every time I get visitors from out of state, I get stumped by the same question: “What beach will we love?” But not all our beaches are created equal. And so it helps to have an awareness of how each of the best distinguishes itself. I can’t find much fault in this recently posted list at Gadling.com.

More experienced beach-bummin’ locals are free to take issue. The writer pronounced Hollywood Beach the one for multitasking, since it has Wi-Fi, making it a tempting destination for a pasty blogger who spoke on the condition of anonymity.
