Armed Man in Rusty Mercedes Sought by Police

Fort Lauderdale Police are looking for the rusty Mercedes that 25-year-old Antoine Joseph allegedly used to kidnap an ex-girlfriend, Dominique Duval, 23, last night in north Fort Lauderdale. From Sgt. Frank Sousa's news release:

Preliminary investigation has revealed that the victim was leaving her place of employment when her ex-boyfriend, who was armed with a silver handgun, approached her. The suspect then dragged the victim into his vehicle and fled the area.

It's a mid-1990s model dark Mercedes, according to police, with "heavy oxidation" on the bottom, a broken headlight, and a crack in the rear window. The release says that Joseph has also been known to drive a blue four-door 2000 Dodge.
