Brian Holmes, a 24-year-old from Delray Beach, is accused of sucker-punching a clerk at an Upper Darby, Pa., gas station and then taking $100 out of her cash register. It seems to have been a crime of opportunity for a guy who had a cocaine and Oxycontin habit and who wanted one last binge before he flew back to South Florida to enter rehab.

Only the Upper Darby Police Department, which does not suffer drug-addled sucker-punchers gladly, was one step ahead of him. Superintendent Michael Chitwood told the Philadelphia Daily News how his officers were surprise visitors to the goodbye ceremony Holmes' family had at the gate of Philadelphia's airport. Says Chitwood:

"We decided to give him his own intervention courtesy of the Upper Darby Police Department."
CSI: Upper Darby. Coming this fall on CBS!

After the jump, David Caruso shows Chitwood how to deliver a one-liner, Miami-style.
