The Miami Herald is reporting that Beverly Gallagher is taking six weeks off from the Broward County School Board for an “undisclosed illness.”
“I’ve been in some pretty good pain,” Gallagher told the newspaper.
And she must have come down with this awful serious illness in the past week or so. A witness tells me she was dancing up a storm at the AFL-CIO’s annual Labor Ball at the Westin Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood on September 5. And she didn’t look sick at all.
