Not exactly vindication, but ole Fitzroy S. can give this a positive spin in advance of the March 10 election. The suspended Miramar commissioner is facing a felony charge of aggravated assault with a firearm after he whipped out a pistol in a Winn Dixie checkout line.

This week a juror whipped out a weapon that proved lethal to the trial: a paperback dictionary, which the jurors apparently consulted for a definition of “imminent” — the word that now describes the status of his next trial.
