Just a heads-up, motorists: This Thursday, police will be on the 1300 block of South Dixie Highway in Deerfield Beach, checking cars for “defective safety equipment” and checking motorists for valid license, registration, and insurance paperwork.
BSO officers will be conducting the checkpoint between 6 and 10 p.m. Best get to duct-taping that rear-view mirror back on.
