“I got a big problem with you wanting to be the Senator of Florida,” says the man in the video below, speaking in a folksy North Florida drawl to Charlie Crist. “Because in my opinion, after looking through your record as governor, I believe you are a Democrat. You are not a Republican. You’re a Democrat — and a liberal socialist Democrat at that.” Sitting in a room that looks like it was loaned to him by the Shining Path, the man then asks politely for Crist to withdraw from the Senate race.
Around 1:20, my favorite line:
“I’m not going to give you my Social Security number, and I’m still going to keep fishing.” So there. This man is a patriot.
