Deputies Name Suspect in Deerfield Homicide

Ronald Rivera is the name of the suspect wanted for the murder Sunday of 31-year-old Elvin R. Sanchez in Deerfield Beach.

From the BSO release:

Sanchez's body was found Sunday, October 25 shortly before 9 o'clock when a man walked outside his residence in the 4100 block of NW 3 Avenue and saw a man lying in the yard between a house and a duplex. The man checked to see if the stranger needed assistance then quickly realized he was dead.



Through their investigation BSO homicide detectives developed 22-year-old Ronald U. Rivera as a suspect in the case. Rivera is wanted for murder in the second degree. Detectives are not releasing the motive for the killing or how Sanchez was killed.
