Florida Likes Hillary Clinton Way More Than Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush

Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush have seemingly been jockeying for position under the proverbial basket for the proverbial rebound that is the run to the White House in 2016 -- particularly in Florida, which is not only a vital swing state but also has the potential to screw up every presidential election until the end of time.

But according to Thursday's super-informative Quinnipiac University Poll, it just might be Hillary Clinton who'll be grabbing that rebound and Jason Terrying the GOP come 2016.

The former secretary of state and current wife of Joe Cool Clinton has double-digit leads over both of the current Republican Great White Hopes Jeb! and Marco.

Those polled asked who they'd vote for if the elections were held today.

Quinnipiac found that Hillary takes down Rubes by a 52-14 percent margin, with Independents taking her 47-38 percent.

Shockingly, women and blacks favor Hillary over Rubio by whopping margins. Rubio gets only 37 percent of the vote from the ladies, while Clinton gets 55 percent.

Blacks took Clinton by a monstrous 88 to 6 percent margin.

And it looks like Jeb!'s big speech about inclusion at CPAC did little to sway voters, as he fared no better against Clinton in Florida voters eyes.

Hillary takes down Bush with a 51-40 percent margin. She also obliterates Bush with women by a 56-36 percent margin and with blacks by a 86-9 percent margin.

The poll also shows Clinton much more favorably than either Jeb! or Marco, 62 to 33 percent favorable for Clinton, compared to 50 to 35 percent favorable for Bush and 41 to 34 percent for Rubio.

"We probably won't know for some time whether former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton runs for president in 2016, but if she decides to make the race, she begins with a sizable lead in a state that Republicans cannot win the White House without," said Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute. "Florida voters have a very positive view of Mrs. Clinton and it's not just Democrats who feel that way."

Meanwhile, Hillary is viewed favorably by 26 percent by GOPers, which, how bad can things be that a Clinton breaks anywhere near the 20 percent mark with Republicans?

2016 is obviously still a long ways off, but this has been the trend for some time. And as the sequester hits us all in the face and the assault weapons ban dies and GOPers continue to trot out far-right, women-marginalizing, gay-hating, global-warming denying senators as their saviors, it's a pretty safe bet that what we see in the Quinnipiac poll Thursday will remain as is until the next election.
