Check out the star-studded guest list for this weekend's conference by David Horowitz's Freedom Center. Among them: Newt Gingrich, Ann Coulter, Fred Thompson, Liz Cheney, and the unflushable Geert Wilders, the Dutch parliamentarian who's back to help us fight terrorists and illegal immigrants -- or does he not distinguish between the two?

It's part of the center's "restoration weekend." Not sure exactly what is being restored, but there may be a clue lurking in the weekend's cryptic title: "Defending Our Freedom and Our Culture."

Hmmm. Defending our "culture," you say? And that's a mighty Caucasian guest list, isn't it?

It's a shame they couldn't have booked their event around the same time that author David Irving booked his at the Ritz-Carlton in nearby Manalapan. You'd have found "our culture" defenders among his group, even if a couple of them are prone to stabbing each other.

Among the cast of slightly lesser-known conservatives, I'm excited to hear what Frank Gaffney has to say. As recently as this past June, the Washington Times columnist was advancing the theory that Barack Obama may be a secret Muslim, and maybe this weekend he'll finally give us actual evidence.
