In case you missed it, Florida's most famous gun owner got himself a new website. George Zimmerman's lawyers set up a revamped web presence for the man charged with second-degree murder in the February shooting death of Trayvon Martin, using it to publish statements from the legal team and encourage involvement in the "George Zimmerman Legal Case" social media accounts.
And now they're using it to, uh, aggregate negative stories about Zimmerman.
A blog post from Zimmerman's lawyers yesterday pointed out Tuesday's Miami Herald article in which reporter Frances Robles notes that Zimmerman, whose mother was born in Peru, said some nasty stuff about Mexicans back in 2005.
"I dont miss driving around scared to hit mexicans walkin on the side of the street, soft ass wanna be thugs messin with peoples cars when they aint around (what are you provin, that you can dent a car when no ones watchin) dont make you a man in my book," he wrote. "Workin 96 hours to get a decent pay check, gettin knifes pulled on you by every mexican you run into!"
He also had a short blog post in which be bragged about getting two felony charges reduced to one misdemeanor because, as he explained in an earlier post, "The ex hoe tried her hardest, but the judge saw through it!"
If you're mad there's not another blog post about how Trayvon Martin dealt with race on his social media accounts, know that it's because Martin didn't follow a minority around in the dark and then shoot him in the chest.
The Herald had some other information (including confirmation from the lawyers), and the profile is still online to be gawked at if you're interested (Myspace.com/OnlyToBeKingAgain), but we're preserving the "About Me" section here on the Pulp in case somebody goes and deletes it.
