However, there's a way around the digital red tape.
As of January 1, 2025, any websites offering adult content in Florida must use an age verification system or face fines under a new state law, HB 3. The law mirrors others recently implemented in states like Texas, Idaho, Kansas, and Kentucky, where Pornhub has also stopped doing business.

A video of porn actress Cherie DeVille now greets users on the website.
In the clip, DeVille explains that no Pornhub material will be available to users in Florida because of new age verification requirements going into place.
"As you may know, your elected officials in Florida are requiring us to verify your age before allowing you access to our website," Deville says in the video. "While safety and compliance are at the forefront of our mission, giving your ID card every time you want to visit an adult platform is not the most effective solution for protecting our users, and in fact, will put children and your privacy at risk."
But while officials with Aylo, the parent company to Pornhub, confirmed to New Times that the porn site will deny access to all users in the state in 2025, there will still be a way for Floridians to access the site.
Introducing: a VPN.
A VPN, which stands for virtual private network, masks your real IP address (also known as your digital location) and connects you to a secure server in another location. You can use a VPN to do lots of things: stream movies or shows from other countries, buy lower-priced subscriptions from other parts of the world, and now, bypass your state's ban to get on Pornhub.
Here's how to use a VPN to access the porn site:
- Sign up for a VPN (ExpressVPN, NordVPN, and Surfshark are good ones)
- Download the app to your device of choice
- Open up the app and connect to a server in a location that supports access to Pornhub
- Voilà!
